Pricing
Calling is not open yet. These are the prices that will apply when invitation access opens, and you will see the exact amount again before you pay. Joining the launch list costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
Start with a pack of minutes. No subscription, no monthly commitment — most people do not make these calls every week. If you find you are calling often, a monthly plan is the cheaper way to buy the same minutes.
Minute pack — no plan needed
A one-time purchase. Nothing renews, and nothing is ever topped up automatically.
100 minutes
$29 one time · $0.29 a minute
Roughly five to seven real calls. Valid for twelve months from the day you buy it. Includes the preparation flow and your record of approved facts.
Monthly plans — the discount for calling often
Included minutes reset at the start of each month. Cancel any time; a cancelled month is not prorated. Nothing is ever charged automatically for extra minutes — if you run out, you choose whether to buy a pack.
Starter
$19 per month · 60 minutes
Roughly three or four real calls a month, plus stored briefs and the rehearsal library. The lowest monthly commitment, not the lowest price per minute.
Standard
$39 per month · 150 minutes · $0.26 a minute
Roughly eight to ten calls a month. Everything in Starter. The plan most regular callers should pick.
Pro
$59 per month · 250 minutes · $0.24 a minute
Roughly thirteen to sixteen calls a month. Everything in Standard, plus priority email support.
There is no unlimited plan, no annual prepayment, and no free tier with live calls. When your pack is mostly used, we will tell you whether a plan would be cheaper from there — and leave the choice to you.
Nothing to pay today, and joining commits you to nothing. We email you when invitations open.
What a minute is, plainly
- Counted once per connected call, not once per person on the call.
- Silence and hold time count. Preparing and reviewing inside the product use the same allowance; ordinary text preparation on this site does not.
- A failed connection or a retry we caused is credited back to you. You do not have to ask for it.
- You see your balance before you dial. A single call is capped at 30 minutes, and a call only starts when 30 minutes are available, so a call is never cut off because minutes ran out.
- Plans reset monthly. Packs last twelve months. Unused plan minutes do not roll over. Pack minutes are used after your plan minutes, stay available with or without a plan, and expire twelve months after purchase.
- No automatic top-ups, ever. A pack is bought only when you press the button to buy it.
- United States numbers, English only. International and premium destinations are not supported.
Every plan and pack includes
- Withstead's preparation flow: goals, notes, and the facts you approve before anything is shared.
- Your record of approved facts, with export, and deletion when you ask for it.
- Email support, and cancellation whenever you want it.
Cancelling and refunds
Cancel any time and you keep access through the end of the month you already paid for. If a call was billed wrongly because of us, the minutes come back. Beyond that, if something went wrong, write to us — we can refund up to one month at our discretion. Packs are one-time purchases and are not refundable once minutes have been used, but unused packs can be refunded within 14 days of purchase. The full wording is in our terms of service.
What this is not
Withstead is not an emergency service — if anyone is in danger, call 911. It is not a medical service and must not be used for medical or mental-health information or for financial-account matters. It is not for marketing, collections, or calling people from a list, and it is never used covertly: everyone on a call has to agree before Fred listens or speaks. See acceptable use.
